Bad gas? or maybe fuel filter?

check engine mounts especially the rear box mount because under high torque situations (1-2) gears there may be mis-alignment of the drive shaft occurring and the vibration is from "U" joints behind the gear box getting out of alignment and phase angle.. Check slip joints for lubrication and wear.

This may depend on which side of the support bearing the slip joint is on the tail shaft. If it is on the diff side of the bearing then the problem will be that the slip joint has seized and every time the diff rises or falls from load or bumps in the road instead of slipping it pushes the whole shaft forward or pulls back to allow for the changed length of the distance from diff pinion and rear of gear box. If the slip joint is in the rear of the gear box then you may have to alter the angle that the mount has to the drive shaft. On a Mazda I had I found that the mounting plate was square to the chassis but the bearing needed to be about 3 degrees off to compensate for the drive shaft angle. This meant that the ball bearing was under mis-aligned load from the hard rubber and caused premature wear of the bearing

Cannon camera says lens error when turned on

The problem is most likely a mis-aligned inner lens barrel. Sometimes this is caused by an impact to the lens. The cost to repair it depends upon exactly which model Canon camera you have.

Motor not turning

Please check :
- Incoming power on your motor ( If there is power but motor is not running then check your motor'r capacitor ). Usually a broken capacitor will deformed. You may need a replacement of capacitor

- Your motor gear ( it may slipped or stuck up) and garage rail for mis aligned.

The bolt that holds my alternator in place has snapped in two for the 3 time while I was driving. Any idea why? I own a 1999 nissan altima.

That is usually caused by mis-alignment of the pulley to the drive belt. Sometimes the hole in the alternator the bolt goes through can become wallowed out, or oblonged due to wear causing the assembly to wobble slightly and causing stress on the bolt-snapping it. Other times the alternator bracket itself can have holes oblongated or worn severly causing it to be mis-aligned or to have wobble also creating too much stress on certain bolts. I have had ones that I had to bore out to a larger size and put a sleeve in to correct the problem, or replace the defective part. Also be sure the assembly is lined put properly ( not in a bind, or skewed sideways /back-to-front ) causing too much stress on the bolts in the assembly due to the tesion of the drive belt.
Please vote if this helps! Thanks, Mike

I HAVE A 97 F250 7.3 DIESEL. THE STARTER IS NEW BUT WHEN I TRY TO START IT IT SOUNDS LIKE THE STARTER IS KICKING IN AND TURNING BUT THE MOTOR IS NOT TURNING. WOULD THE GLOWPLUG RELAY CAUSE THIS?

Don't think so. It sounds like the starter is mis-aligned and not engaging the flywheel. When the starter spins, the gear on the end is supposed to move out and engage the flywheel. Sometimes the springs are bad or there is too much friction on the spiral shaft, but if this is a new starter, more than likely it is mis-aligned.

Make sure it is perfectly level. If it is, you may just have a weak floor in your new place?

1992 Dodge Ram 50: Horn honks all by itself.

Check the horn actuating contact at the centre of the steering wheel. It may be damaged or mis-aligned.
Also check the carbon contact that runs on the slip ring under the steering wheel (associated with steering wheel horn actuate switch) It may be damaged or mis-aligned.

If none of the above are faulty, you should look for a possible intermittent short to ground on the horn actuation control wiring.

you have lost convergence. First thing to check is to see if you are missing the convergence option in the customer setup menu. if you do not have this option then i suggest reading the article in the tips and tricks section entiltled "the fl231 fuse problem" this is a common and sometime easy repair if you do have it then you might need a convergence power board
