How do I restore bios?

If all you have done is change the CMOS battery then the BIOS should be fine but it will have been reset to default settings which may have changed the Boot device and / or boot sequence.

Go in to the BIOS setup when you power on the computer and check that you have your main hard disk drive set as the main boot device.

Hi, can I use a Dell Silicon Image Orion ADD2-N DVI Video Card for my emachines T3508?

Your eMachines T3508 has one PCI-Express (PCI-E x16) slot available, so yes you can use this card with it (this video card for newer Pentium 4 motherboards with PCI-x slot).

Emachines ET1810 desktop computer randomly powers down for seemingly no reason. Doesn't crash or freeze, just turns off, as if the plug was pulled. Started about 5-6 months after buying.

It could be overheating, and automatically shutting itself down, to avoid any damage.

Did you get the standard 12 month warranty when you purchased the computer? Did you purchase "extended" warranty? If so, contact Emachines, and get them to trouble-shoot and fix it.

Can I restore my eMachine T3508 to new without the restore Disc?

There is a good chance that you could restore the computer without the restore discs. It all depends on if there is a recovery partition built into the machine. Here is what you should do:

1. Restart your computer.
2. Tap F11 a few times before the windows loading screen.
3. Choose to restore your computer if step 2 worked.

After that your computer should be like new.

If you don't have a recovery partition try contacting microsoft and see if they can give you a copy of the operating system you are running. Just make sure you have your product key handy. It should be located somewhere on the case. Good luck.

I have emachines T3508 and I cannot find the microphone?

No the microphone is not integrated. You will need to buy one and plug it into the back of the machine. It should have a little picture of a microphone next to it or Audio In.

Have a emachine desktop T3508 and I need a manual. And nothing happens with you apply power.

Try here.

http://www.emachines.com/support/options.html

The site does not support downloading of their manuals. I tried to find other information or manuals but cannot reach other sites on www.emachines.com at this time, I think they might be having site issues. I will keep looking and keep you posted. http://www.emachines.com/support/product_support.html not loading at this time from my location.

Emachine T3508 Loud Loud Loud

The only sure way to quiet it down is to replace the hard drives with newer ones, that you have selected based on their noise rating, AND to replace all the fans in the machine with fans that you have selected based on their noise rating. I did this for my self-built machine last year and never regretted spending the money on new drives and new fans. It's SO much quieter! ;)
