Question about Sta Rite Sta - Rite 2hp Max - E Pro Inground Pool Pump, P6ea6g207l
First to be sure shut the breaker off then turn back on. Most breakers require that you do this for safty reasons. Check all your power from the breaker to the back of the motor with a meter. If you have power shut it off then open the pump by removing the steel clamp that goes around the pump. Pull the motor and back half of the pump away from the rest of the pump. Now remove the difusser, the white plate covering the impeller. Then try to spin the impeller. If it spins then try to start thr motor. If it goes then you have a problem with the impellor or the difusser. If it won't start at this point you probally have a bad motor and will need to replace it. I always recomend new but you can get a rebuildt. If it's the impeller that will usually be obvious. You can take it into your local store and have them match the parts and they will usually do the bench work for just the charge for parts.
I hope this helps, good luck.
