So everyone talks jargen and some of us have no idea what the hell you are talking about lol. How do you forward ports? I don't understand what you mean. I have my cable modem directly connected (wired) to my xbox 360. Yet it tells me Moderate for my NAT. How the heck do I get it Open? Can you walk me through it? Step by step not just say one or two words.

Actually you can, just contact your service provider or call a local expert for about 1.99 a min. It will take about 5 min. to walk you through it. I had to do it, and it helped my xbox live connection tremendously.

The NAT usually has to do with a device connected to a router. You cannot change the NAT on a modem, only a router. To change it to open, you have to simple forward ports.
