I have Motorola V171 and my top part of phone is not working, as I do not see the screen - mobile menu. It is blank. I can still call and receive calls, as the light is in this part. Someone send me SMS, however I could not see this.
How this can be fixed? I live in Ashburton/Burwood in Melbourne.
I would appreciate your help.

- My motorola v171 got wet last week. I dried it out but the display screen no longer displays. It lights up but does not display anything. The phone works fine otherwise. I have two other v171's is there anyone who could help me with information on how to replace repair/change the screen? Ultimately I want to try and recover the contents of my phonebook. Can the sim card from the damaged phone be put into one of the other phones to recover the phonbook data?The damaged phone has been used on Net 10. The offshore tech people at Net 10 tell me that there is no way to recover the phone book data. - DACJon
