Question about VuPoint Cameras
If the battery is fine and the manual mode also does not switch the flash on then it is possible that the flsh unit inthe camera is faulty.
I would advice to seek the help of a camera tech to open but if you can open to check the power supply to the flash unit to detect a pico fuse failure , try to attempt. But then to go further if you notice a capacitor leak or a fault in the invertor stage output.
If possible to get a reading for short on these components , then you can replace and test.
