Get a linux liveCD, boot it up. back up all of you files on to another USB or Disk using the linux operating system.
Do a system recovery with a recover disk if you have one

Ask if you need more detail or don't know what I'm talking about.

if all of that fails you have a harddrive failure which can be recovered by a professional. OR you can go on youtube and look for "how to repair harddrives" and learn to DIY

Hard disk failure imm

Hello

The hard drive is a mechanical device that WILL fail - it is only a matter of time. Since you are being prompted that yours is about to fail, you need to get a backup of your data as soon as possible.

Use a USB memory stick, USB hard drive, CD or DVD disk or network drive to copy your data from the hard drive immediately. Once your data is copied to a safe location, you can run CHKDSK /r /f from the CMD line to check the hard drive and possibly fix issues.

If the hard drive has "Bad Sectors", you will need to replace the hard drive.

Save your data asap and replace the drive it's failing. All drives fail over time you are lucky in that you are getting a notice. Others are not as fortunate.

I can not access my computer after imminent failure message

> imminent failure message ... cannot access

Bad luck that the 'imminent' failure was _SO_ soon followed by _complete_ failure.

Buy a new disk-drive. Disconnect the old disk-drive.
Install Windows to the new disk-drive.
Reconnect the old disk-drive, as a 'slave' disk-drive, and hope that you can access the files on it, even though you could no longer 'boot' Windows from it.

Your drive is failing and you should back up any important data you need onto CD/DVD or an external USB device (hard drive/pen drive). The drive may keep working for a while but your system is warning you that it has detected a critical error with the drive and failure is imminent.

How to fixs this

The hard drive is going bad cause it can't read the sectors properly.

Either get a known good workng hard drive in the computer or a brand new one and restore the computer back to factory defaults.
