Here is one possible solution: your power socket burnt down so your laptop won't charge and the battery is dead because of that.
solution: get a power jack socket for your model and solder new one in. Learn by watching youtube videos. Or take it to a technician and pay about $100.
did you modify your laptop at all i.e. add harddrive, add ram etc...
