I have a Whirlpool GEW9200LL1. Worked fine until today.,..runs and goes around but no heat. Checked the circuit breakers and reset them, still no heat. Guess it could be the heater or do we check it and how much are the parts?

Dryer works, just no heat. Do I try to fix it myself? Heating element? All the lint areas are 100% spotless and fuse is fine?

It's been a couple/few years since I've had the same dryer. It's happened several times, but the air is not heating up as it should.

Coul be a fuse pn: 279973 or heater pn:3387747
I don't believe that is a heater because its a new machine.
You can get the parts at sears . com and search for parts.
If you open the botton plate of your dryer you gonna see at the right side the heater and screwed into the heater is a thermostat and a fuse.
Before replace the heater , make sure that your vent is cleaning otherwise its gonna blow again

My 970-c85092 dryer only runs cold air. I'd like

not likely a fuse. check the heating element for a break. the thermal fuse will shut the dryer down completley. could be you need an upgraded thermostat kit for the heater assy.

There is only cold air in my kenmore elect dryer

The motor runs on 120VAC. The heating element requires 208/240VAC. Cycle the dryer circuit breaker. Other than a simple issue like that, the problem could be a bad heating element, thermostat, high limit control, thermal fuse, motor centrifugal switch, timer or electronic control. It can also be a wiring issue.

Will not dry clothes, blows cold air.

need brand.most dryers have thermal fuse that protect the element from going bad.I would first check your breaker and make sure it isnt tripped.a dryer will run but not heat if breaker is tripped.
