Alpine Car Radio - how to change time - Alpine CDM-9821 CD Player

The source/power button in the top left corner changes the mode. Press the button until the aux appears. The auxillary device must be plugged in to register on the stereo.

Alpine changes their wire harness every couple years, you will have to rewire for a new radio but all the colors will be the same.

you can buy either a cable for the i pod or depending on the model of alpine you may need a part to go with it to operate this can be picked up at any car audio place there are also either multiple auxs for your unit for sat radio. some newer units allow you to buy the alpine part to adapt to a sirius or xm part that wires in behind the stereo to give you the operation on your head unit.

you shouldnt have to purchase any other cables to hook up sirus however somtimes due to the changes in the manufactor weather it be xm or sirius you may come across your radio not interfacting with the package you bought you might want to check the manufacture about this sirius 99 percent of the time will hook up to most JVC Alpine, Kenwood, ECT but you need to look at the back of your reciever at your connections on the back you should have in output and or input for for either aux in the back such as for a cd changer or in your case that will be used for your sirius hook up. There should be a fuse on the back of the radio. It needs to be checked.

To set the time;

Press and hold CLK button for 3 seconds

While flashing, use the H and M buttons to adjust the time setting(s).

The time will be saved 5 seconds after a button is pressed.
