My Icemaker won't keep the ice once it makes it

What make and model of ice maker do you have?
Is the unit making ice? If so, about how much?

Most commercial bin type ice makers are not engineered to maintain the ice once it drops into the bin. Older ice is intended to melt and the water should drain out of the bin as new ice is deposited on top.

It may be that you are consuming ice at a rate greater than the unit is designed to produce ice, or that the unit is not set to the highest ice production rate (if adjustable).

Alternatively, if the inside of the bin is hot (warm) you may have another problem with the unit (e.g., gasket leak). Was the unit previously working? If so, are you aware of any events that took place just prior to the change?

Some units have a defrost or a cleaning mode, which will actually generate heat inside the unit. Make sure the unit is set to the correct mode.

Intertherm furnace model # MMHB-070ABHR-06 red light blinks two times

Number of flashes mean different things for diff models. The meanings of those flashes should be posted somewhere on the unit; usually inside front of the bottom service panel. Though you can't truly diagnose a problem by number of flashes they can give you an idea of where to look for a problem. There are a ton of videos and how-to's about furnaces on youtube by real service techs. Most modern furnaces have basically the same set-up and features so don't worry about your paticular brand; but of course that would be the best place to start looking. You could start here to familiarize yourself with your brand of furnace:

And then here:

Hope this helps.

I switched the heating on a week ago and re-set programmes. It was clearly set to come on every weekday at 6.30am but kept switching on at 5.30am. To try to fix this, I tried pressing the reset button but...

Sounds like the original problem which is not truly a problem is that the Adaptive Recovery Setting was set to on which the Thermostat is self learning and if for example you set the thermostat to go to 70 deg. at a certain time it will turn the unit on early to achieve that setting at your designated time, and it will slowly learn and adapt itself to how long it takes to reach that setting from the previous setting. The next issue is that you have actually accessed the installer's settings page and you will need your manual to get out of this.

Wall ac will not turn off

Yes it sounds to me like you have found the problem and I do recommend www.appliance411.com. They may not have the part you're looking for on the site but they might be able to link you to the most inexpensive parts available with the exception of used parts. Hope this helps, good luck!

Hot House

This is never an easy fix. Insulation is one factor but other things to look for is drafty windows and doors, wall outlet covers and seal the plumbing where it comes through the walls. I recently had the power co. come out and do an energy audit to find my houses weakest points of energy conservation. This is truly a great service. I have lowered my power bill by 23% and my house stays much cooler and my a/c comes on less in the heat of the day. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I have a 1/2 hp jet pump that draws lake water. We have tried and tried to prime it and get it up to presure. I have replaced the foot value but when started it reaches 20 psi and waivers down to 5 then...

I have seen little critters (looks like baby clams) make a home inside the suction pipe and on the impeller in the pump. They can cause a lot of pressure problems with just a few of them in the way.

Carrier Weather Maker not blowing anything

if you turn on just the fan at thermostat does it run.
if not then the fan motor / belt / relay / start capacitor is the issue.
if your not familiar with ac then you will need help to diagnose the air handler.
belt is easy.
just take a look by opening the side access panel
