Question about Canon PIXMA iP1800 InkJet Photo Printer

1 Answer

I have a Canon Photo Printer Pixma iP1800 that someone gave me. It does not have a CD to install on my computer. Do I need a CD, and if so, can you send me one, or can I install the printer without a CD? Thanks.

HERE is the link to the driver download page directly from Canon. Just select your proper operating system and it will show the download link. You do not need the CD.

I have misplaced the iP1800 printer cd, i want to install it now what must i do.

I can help you better if you had mentioned the operating system installed on your system which you are going to install your printer, anyway follow these links;
1. Canon Pixma iP1800 drivers
2. Canon pixma ip1800 inkjet photo printer (you choose the link, both will work, but they are from different websites/servers)
After opening the link, select you operating system type, and then click on the drivers available from the lists. Follow the onscreen instructions to download the drivers.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

PROBLEM

1) check the printer is plugged in, if it is, unplug it and plug it back in.
2) Look for support or drivers online, there are usually loads, my favourite is: http://driverscollection.com/ (there are some drivers on there, only for windows though) so try re-installing the drivers.

I am not familiar with that printer, but I have had a lot of printers die on me, so theres not much more I can say about that, but I hope someone else (hint hint) can give you a better more specific answer :)
