Question about Pass & Seymour #1595NTLICC4 15A Ivory GFCI Nightlight

1 Answer

I bought several of these switches. Only one seems to illuminate correctly. The one that appears to be correct has the top half of the paddle lit when in the off position. The other switches all have an orange light behind the paddle; however, the light only appears around the crackes of the paddle and the paddle itself does not illuminate. Was there some change in the model or a recall? Wiring is not the issue as I have swapped switches to make sure. The lighting through the cracks is inadequate. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I have a new paddle light switch im trying to install and for some reason it keeps poping the breaker. im wondering if im installing it correctly

make sure you are hooking up the correct color wires to it main wire on top of switch, bottom wire of switch other color wire they should be blackor any other color , just dont hook up the white wire to it this will make your breaker pop , If your copper is touching any metal this will make it pop also, good luck

The motor seems to be working but the crank stops turning after half an hour. I end up with a bowl of flour after 3 hours.

Hi, Either the paddle is sticking or the belts are slipping. Take the pan and paddle out of the machine and try turning the paddle by hand. It should be nice and smooth. If not the sealed bearing is failing and the pan needs to be replaced. If ok then check the belts. Belts and motor are located in the base of the machine. Unplug it first before checking. Also, make sure the pan is seated in the machine correctly. Hank

Only 1 headlight bulb lit? Just bought a used 2008 Honda CBR125R in Canada from the Honda dealer. I noticed only 1 headlight bulb lit ('passenger side' half) They said that regular headlights only one side...

That sounds right, Check the plugs on the bulbs to see for sure. The passenger side one should have three prongs and the other should only have two. Good luck

Refrigerator in-door water dispenser fails to work

First ... your model number is missing some on the end. please check your model number on the machine for the correct lookup of parts.

For your situation I found this model number # FRS22ZRHD1. Take a look at this picture of this models dispensor.
there are 3 switches # QT 2 -- 38a & 38b

this should be close to your model of fridge but you will half to make sure.

and yes you should just replace the bad switch.
Part numbers for the switches for this model # are 218479900 & 241689101

How does the illuminated light work inside a Leviton light switch? Since there is no neutral (white) wire hooked up to the switch itself? Does the switch illumination light have its current flow into the...

The neon lamp inside of the switch draws very little current (milli, or mico amps) so there is no significant current flowing to ground.

As for your real question, there are several various types of 3-way pilot switches:
Load on: Pilot on
Load off: Pilot on
Some 3-way pilot switches have an external lead which allows them to be configured either way.
If both of your switches are the same type and are wired correctly, they should work the same.
If you suspect that one is defective, try swapping them.
