Can it be adapted for a wall outlet?

First its not a Whistler product, its a Fuzzbuster.. Yes, if the AC adapter is 12 volts DC output and is at least 500mA then it will be fine.

I need instructions on how to mount the nuvi 200w to my windshield

To secure the nuvi 200w to your windshield with the included suction cup mount (pictured below),

steve_con_6.jpeg

center the GPS on the clip, and tip the bottom edge on the bracket. Push the top of the GPS against the top clip until it clicks into place. Hold the bracket and GPS near the windshield where you like it best. Note where the suction cup is on the windshield in relation to the mirror, etc. Remove the GPS from the mount's clip by pushing the top tab back from the top of the GPS.

Clean the windshield (or portion that the suction cup will be stuck against) with a paper towel or newspaper and ammonia solution like Windex, etc. Clean the suction cup with the paper towel and Windex, too.

Lift the lever at the base of the mount - is shown in the picture above - if it isn't already. With the mount oriented as shown in the picture above, press the suction cup against the windshield where desired with one hand. Hold the mount firmly against the glass and use your other hand to press the lever on the base back toward the suction cup and glass. Press until it lays flat against the base / suction cup. Plug the power cord into the GPS and reinstall the GPS in the mount clips as done earlier.

To remove from the windshield, release the GPS from the mount clips, and lift the lever away from the base / suction cup. Locate the tab that is connected to the suction cup edge near the lever. Pull on the tab away from the glass to break the suction seal and remove from the windshield.

If this was helpful, please rate it 4 thumbs up. Thanks & good luck!

I just bought the Garmin 1450 and there is besides the suction cup and holder another little bag with a round devise, but it doesn't explain anything about this devise in the manual. Is that a disc or...

The disc you refer to is smooth on one side and self-adhesive on the other. It's an optionally used mounting point for the suction cup, and is intended as an alternative location for mounting if the owner cannot use/does not wish to use the windscreen (US=windshield).

Before use, wash the surface to which you intend to stick the disc ensure that is totally clean and grease free. After applying it, press hard all over the surface of the disc and ideally leave it for 24 hours before using it.

Note that one disadvantage of using the disc is that it is a permanently visible advertisement to thieves that there may be a satnav left in your vehicle. Widescreen ****** marks also advertise the same presesnce, but are easily cleaned off if you leave a packet of wipes in the car.

I hope my reply has been clear and useful, please take a moment to rate my answer.

I just bought a nuvi 1450. I also purchased a friction mount for the dash. It says to snap the cradle into the arm. It doesn't go easily and I'm afraid that I'll break it. Any suggestions?

The 2 wide bumps(not sure the technical name) of the cradle go on the bottom first then the two close bumps that have a lip go to the top of the 1450. Also the hole where the suction cup mount snaps into the cradle is closer to the bottom of the unit.
I have the same gps and the cradle is slightly different than the picture in the manual. I have attached a link to the manual and you can see the picture and diagram on page 2.
Thanks for using FixYa

Where can i buy a windshield suction mount for a fb 3500

First this is not a Whistler made radar detector - it was made by Fuzzbuster. With that said, you might be able to use a Whistler bracket. If you know of someone that has a Whistler radar detector, try to see if your unit will work with it. If so, then you can call 800-531-0004 to order a windshield bracket or order it on Whistler's website - www.whsitlergroup.com

Windshield Mounting Unmounting

first the round plate... that has a sticky circle on the bottom.... you remove the tape and stick it on a surface where you want the gps... then when you want to mount the gps you suction cup it to that disk. now for the suction cup... when it is disengaged the plastic suction cup will be loose. to attach it to the plate or window... you swing the small arm on the base of it up or down... you will see as it will lock the suction... the gps should clip onto the holder so you can leave the holder where it is and remove the gps and slip it into your pocket.

Not the best instructions but you will get the idea
