CD and Videocard jammed in my CD Drive. Acer Aspire L320

Need help I have a blockbuster videocard stuck in my cd drive and also a cd which I'm guessing has made the videocard go right to the back stuck in there too thanks to my 2yr old. When I turn the computer on it sounds like the cd drive wants to eject but nothing comes out.Is there a way where I can safely remove it myself without wrecking it or is it better to take the apire L320 to a repairer? Please help ASAP

On the face of the cd drive their should be a small hole. Use a paper clip and press in. It might take a little force but not too much. That is the emergency open on most CD/DVD drives.

There should be a small pinhole on the door of the cd drive . You will need to get something small enough ( paperclip ) to put in that hole & the drive should open .

I'm sure you tried in the Computer Folder, right click the DVD/CD Rom Icon and select eject. You may have to dissemble the computer and the DVD/CD Rom drive.

It is possible that the drive is temporarily jammed. There should be a release switch, a small hole the size of a pin.use a paperclip to open. If it doesn't work after that, replace the drive.
