Your dryer needs at least a 30 amp breaker to operate correctly. Changing to a 30 amp breaker should solve your problem. Hope this helps

Often a dryer heating element burns out, but doesn't trip the circuit breaker or blow a fuse. The heating element is simply a long coil of special wire. You can check it for continuity with an ohm meter. No continuity means the element is bad and you need to replace it--electric heating elements aren't repairable. On many dryers, there's a thermal fuse mounted to the exhaust duct inside the back cover panel. The fuse--which is about an inch long--is usually embedded in black resin and mounted in a white plastic housing. If the fuse has blown, you need to replace it.

I have a Kenmore 300 series elect. dryer that keeps tripping 30 amp breaker. Have already changed breaker wiring going from box to dryer and installed new motor.

Check your load/AMP capacity.
If you have other electrical appliances on ie. Iron, Heater, toaster, Kettle these will contribute to the over loading problem.
Old homes sometimes only have 40-80 amp capacity

My neptune electric dryer keep blowing the breaker after ten min

If the dryer is running then blows the breaker , then it is not in the electric circuit, There is a fault in the dryer itself. If it blows the circuit at the same place in the cycle each time then there could be some fault in the heating coil or in the timer circuitry.

Dryer keeps blowing fuse

yes, after years of current going thru the fuse clips they get hi resistance connectiond and cant supply correct pwr to dryer and this results in blowing fuses especially the time delay fuse because this fuse supplies pwr to both the one side of heating element and the motor simutaneously -replace with a breaker sub panel if not enough room for a circuit in your main panel, that should solve your problem

Kenmore 90 series electric dryer blowing cold air only

1st check the breakers
2nd check wiring in back to see connections are secure.
3rd check element. It would be burned in two.
4th check thermal overload switch which is located underneath top of dryer. Easy to remove top. Probably 4-6 screws.

Electric dryer

Most dryers have two fuses in them, one inline with the heater element and another thermal fuse in the main circuit. The one inline with the heater element can blow and the dryer will still run, but will not heat. If the dryer gets too hot it may blow the thermal fuse and kill power to the entire system.

Depending on your level of handiness, you may take the cover off (make sure the unit is unplugged from power) and look for a blown fuse. Most dryers have a schematic for repair somewhere on the unit, usually in the top control area.

Kenmore dryer 80 series

bbrhoades the first thing I always tell people with dryers to to 1st turn the breaker off and then back on. The reason is that only the heating element uses 240 volts, the motor is 120 volts. If this doesn't resolve the issue, then inspect the heater element for breakage. Hope this helps.
