Follow these steps for :
•1
Check the circuit breaker on your convection oven's circuit to make sure it is working properly. If you have more than one appliance running on the same outlet as your convection oven, try running your convection oven by itself.
•2
Test the switches on your convection oven with a volt-ohm meter. Remove the door and shelves from your oven and remove the screws behind the timer knob and around the edging to lift off the control-panel housing. Set your volt-ohm meter on the RX1 scale and touch the probes to the terminals. Your meter should read high ohms with your switch on broil and should read zero if your switch is on convection. If it doesn't, your switch needs to be replaced.
•3
Check out the internal components on your convection oven by removing one lead from the cutoff and setting your volt-ohm meter to RX1. Touch the proves to the terminals. Your meter should read zero ohms. If it reads high ohms, you need to replace your cutoff.
•4
Check the timer on your convection oven by removing one of the leads and clipping the probes on your volt-ohm meter to the terminals. You should show high ohms. If you have your timer on in any position, you should get a reading zero ohms. If you don't, you should replace your timer.
•5
Evaluate the fan thermostat by disconnecting a lead and touching the probes of your volt-ohm meter to the terminals. When your convection oven is cool, your meter should show high ohms. Try heating the bi-metal arm with a hair dryer. Check your terminals again, and your volt-ohm meter should move to zero.
•6
Brush away any debris or dirt that may have gathered around the fan or motor. If your oven isn't heating properly or if your fan doesn't work, this very easily could be the problem. Debris reaching the motor through vents in the housing can block the fan. Use a soft, small brush to remove the dirt.

Whirlpool model RBS245PDB16. Oven pre heats ok. put chicken in to bake. works for a while, and then display reads F3, locks door, and burns up chicken.

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

F3 error code indicates a open/shorted oven temperature sensor and to solve this problem the sensor needs replacement. If you wan to be sure before replacing the sensor then you can test it with a voltmeter for around 1100ohms....if it reads more then this then it needs replacement however, if the reading is around or less then 1100ohms then it is the control board that needs replacement. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

When I turn on the wall oven it will not heat up, the light doesn't come on

If the oven element or the indicator light don't come on it sounds like a timer problem. I assume the oven has an electronic timer/clock. The timer must be in manual mode for the oven to work. If so, turn the oven ON. Then operate the clock/timer buttons to get it in the manual mode. Be patient. When the oven indicator light comes on it is in manual mode.
Please vote for me if this helps you.

My oven wont heat up after i reset it

When you refer to resetting it are you talking about turning the mains power off and then back on?
Or are you talking about resetting the electronic timer? The electronic timer must be in the manual mode for the oven to work. Turn the oven on and play with the timer. When the oven indicator light comes on you know the oven is working.

Gaggenau EB944-110 Pyrolytic oven stuck in some kind of mode after power outage. Oven worked perfectly but there was a mains cut. After restoring power it appears to be stuck in some kind of strange...

Yes this could be the problem. If you can't set the timer to manual mode the oven will not work. Turn the oven to on so that when power goes to it you will see the oven indicator light come on. Play with the timer buttons until the oven indicator light comes on. If it won't work you probably need a new timer.

I dont no how to pre heat the oven

To pre-heat an oven is to simply turn it on to the desired temperature and wait 5 to 10 minutes. If you have a timer then set the timer for the desired time you want to pre-heat then begin baking as usual.

There is no magic to pre-heating an oven and everyone that bakes has a different opinion.

Kenmore ultrabake lights up when stove top is on but wont heat up

Hard to know...First thing I'd check is the power supply to the unit.  Turn off both breakers.  Check wiring all the way through for tightness.  Turn both breakers on.  Next, you'll need to check the elements for continuity...with the power off.

Thermador double oven / Bake wont work /FC code flashed once

I found I have this exact problem. Same bake preheat issue: I can bake if I set broil first. However, the oven doesn't work if I press bake first. The control board has already been replaced a couple times over the years. Is this another replacement??

Wont' heat in broil or bake

check incoming electric first, pull it out and gain access to main wire terminal, With multimeter set to at least 250v AC , check your power across the wiring as such. black to white (110v), red to white(110v) and then black to red 230v. if that ok ok turn, then start ckin elements for continuty also there might be a thermostat( usually an 1 in. round component with 2 wires located right inbetween the elements that has gone bad, will show no continuity. ck that before electronic control the fact that its clickin sounds like the relays are workin properly
