Question about Compaq Computers & Internet
Use of spirits in a keyboard is not recommended, it will eatup and destroy the rubber compounds that make the keys work. It can also damage the electronics inside. Find some canned air, try to dry it out as best you can with the air between the keys. Then try not to use it until it comes back to life. Until then try a usb keyboard in its place. Worst case scenario you will need to replace the keypad of the notebook. Its pretty easy fix though. Best thing to clean keyboards is canned air and windex on a paper towel for the key surfaces only. hope that helps. cheers
