Question about Kyocera Km-3060 Mfp Copier Copy Machine Scan Email All-In-One Laser Printer

How do i calibrate the touchscreen, to push a button i have to push about half an inch under and across from where it is on the screen, is there a 4 point calibration screen, if there is, i cant find it?

First you have to get into the maintenance mode. It is important once in there you don't make any changes other than the one I tell you or you could damage the machine.

To get into maintenance mode do the following:

Press the STATUS KEY

With the numeric key pad key in 10871087 (if done correctly the display will change and say ENTER MAINTENANCE ITEM)

Enter 201 with the numeric key pad (follow the steps below):

1. Press the start key.

2. Select the [INITIALIZE].

3. Press the start key.

4. Press the center of the + keys. Be sure to press three + keys displayed in order. The touch panel is adjusted automatically.

5. Press the indicated three + keys, and then check the display.

6. Press the stop key. The screen for selecting a maintenance item No. is displayed.

Completion
Press the stop key. The screen for selecting a maintenance item No. is displayed.

Now to exit maintenance mode key in 001 with the numeric key pad

Press the Start Key ( you should be back to the status screen, press copy key to go back to the copy mode)

Remember do not go to any other maintenance mode or make any other changes.

You need to recalibrate the touchscreen. Try this: Turn off the Nuvi. Place your finger on the upper left-hand corner of the screen and then push down on the power button to turn the unit on. Release the power button when the Garmin logo appears. Continue to press on the upper left-hand corner of the screen until you see the calibration screen.

Go through the entire procedure of pressing each dot as it appears on the screen.

Once completed the Nuvi will display Calibration Complete This will recalibrate your touchscreen to the LCD display.

If this doesn't resolves your problem. then your touchscreen may be defective.

Touchscreen on a Garmin nuvi 1350 doesn't work. How do I fix this.


Try recalibrating it using the following method:

Nuvi 11xx, 12xx, 13xx, 14xx, 24xx, 25xx Series: Turn off the Nuvi. Place your finger on the upper left-hand corner of the screen and then push down on the power button to turn the unit on. Release the power button when the Garmin logo appears. Continue to press on the upper left-hand corner of the screen until you see the calibration screen. Press all of the prompted dots.

Once completed the Nuvi will display Calibration Complete

This will recalibrate your touchscreen to the LCD display.

If this doesn't resolves your problem. then your touchscreen may be defective and may need to be replaced.

Does not work on the edges, can not access start by touching. when the screen is touched the arrow appears about half an inch away


Sounds like the calibration for the touchscreen needs to be reset. If you check in the control panel, there should be a ELO shortcut that allows you to calibrate/test the touchscreen. Try running through the calibration and see if the touchscreen behavior improves. If the calibration doesn't fix it, then you may have an issue with the touchscreen itself.

My touchscreen doesnt work on my Ikasu 8gb media player for some reason anyone know how I can fix this?


If the touch screen does not work, it may be because it is out of calibration.
You can go into settings and navigate using the buttons to recalibrate the touchscreen.
Slide the on/off slider briefly. It should give you a menu.
Use the - button to scroll down to calibrate.
Push the M button
This gives the calibration screen.
Press the small square that appears in each corner, and finally in the center.
This should give you the touch screen, hopefully working.

Leapster touchscreen


1) Ensure that a cartridge is not inserted
2) Hold down the Hint button while turning the unit on
3) When the LEAPSTER menu screen appears, press the A button
4) Touch each of the crosshairs that appear with the stylus
5) Restart unit

Can't get past the calibration page, keeps shutting off


Does the calibrator keep looping or not seem to work?
If you can access the calibrator, but it loops through the target sequence (repeatedly asking you to tap the targets), there may be a physical problem that's causing your touchscreen to be confused:
  • Do you use an adhesive screen protector? A screen protector which is trapped under the screen edge may interfere with touchscreen calibration. Occasionally, just having the screen protector on the screen can cause the issue. Try removing the screen protector.
  • You may have debris trapped under the edge of the screen. Use the corner of a piece of thin, stiff paper (copier paper works well) to very gently slide all around the edge of the screen. Don't let the corner of the paper travel more than an eighth of an inch under the screen edge frame. By doing this, you may be able to dislodge small particles of debris trapped under the frame.
  • A heavy impact or scrape to the touchscreen can cause permanent damage. If your touchscreen is damaged, you may need a repair
