SOURCE: Input audio to PV-GS250 from an external mixer

Problem check list:

- Try another cable in the connection to rule out the cable
- Make sure the 1/8 plug goes in all the way
- Make sure you have it connected to proper outputs on the mixer (and that it's not a powered mixer!)
- Make sure you don't have the output volume up too loud on the mixer

SOURCE: connecting a guitar amp to a mixer amp

Hi cliff

Connect either of the XLR DI output of the Behringer directly to a MIC IN channel on the Powerpod using a standard Microphone cable. If you wish to push a stereo sound then connect both(L + R) of the XLR DI outputs from the amp... that's about all you need to do. The only reason you need to use stereo(both XLR Outs) from the Behringer is if you want a full stereo FX output from the amp, otherwise you can get away with 1 connected. You may need to back the gain off for those channels on the power pod. You can get a manual for the Powerpod from here

and user manual for the acx900 here

Hope this has helped you, If not, feel free to ask any questions. Cheers.

regards
robotek

SOURCE: HI,I have a VMX1000USB mixer

The XLR are intended for mic and as such they have the gain needed to use mics.
The connectors on the back are LINE LEVEL connectors. To use a mic with these, you will need to have mic preamps to send adequate levels into the jacks on the back of the unit.

DEAR SIR/MADAM WHEN I TRY TO RECORD MY VOICE VIA MICRO PHONE SINGING WHILE THE CD MUSIC TRACKS ARE PLAYING I COULD NOT RECORD THAT TO THE MINI DISC.PLEASE ADVISE ME HOW COULD I CONNECT IT DIGITALLY

It is much easier to use an analog mixer and microphone thru the mixer. I would plug the microphone into the mike input on the mixer and then the Karaoke machine to stereo LINE inputs on the the Mixer, then Mixer Output or Tape Output on the mixer to analog LINE IN on the MiniDisc recorder.
Let me know if you need more info.

How to connect a samson s mix 5 channel mixer

It depends on what you are trying to connect. The XLR would be a professional type microphone, it does not have phantom so a condenser mic will not work. The other inputs should match your stereo equipment. The output goes to your amp.
The Samson S-Mix is a miniature, rugged 5-channel audio mixer with 4-line inputs and a single XLR microphone input. The line inputs are comprised of two 1/4" phone and stereo RCA phono connections. Each input channel has a rotary volume control and the outputs include stereo RCA phono connectors and 1/4" TRS phone headphone output. The S-Mix is powered with an 18 volt AC adapter.

I brought a gxl1200 the sound dont come out

Two words..."phantom power." Condenser mic's like yours require 48 volts of phantom power to operate correctly. Look for a "phantom power" OFF/ON switch located somewhere on your audio mixer or if you're not using a mixer, buy a in-line phantom power supply like this...http://www.amazon.com/b?ie=UTF8&node=11974571.

How do i connect it? does it need a sound card to be connected? thanks..

The Roland DR-80C Microphone is an condenser microphone which requires phantom power or a 12V power supply.. Usually this is supplied by connecting the mic to a microphone preamp or an audio mixer that has an 12v mic/line input.

Can you plug a sterling audio st55 mic into a computer for recording?

In short, no. This PROFESSIONAL microphone requires +48v pahntom power which is privded by a mixing console. In order to connect to the computer, purchase a small mixer with Phantom power capabilities, a balanced xlr cable (male to female) for microphone connection to mixer, Out putleads from mixer to 3.5mm stereo jack to go from mixer to LINE IN on you computer.
I would also recomend a microphone stand, a vibration cradle and pop shield.

How to i connect my bose companion 2speakers to my computer and get sound

hi, first Identify what computer you have. Is It A Mac or PC?

If it is PC
-------------
There should be 2 small 3.5mm coloured sockets on the back, front (or both ) of the main box (tower/desktop unit). You should find that they are coloured Green and Red. Green is for sound output (Headphones/speakers or hifi) and the Red is for sound input or Recording. Used for things like microphones. Some will accept line sources such as mixers and Ipods pr cassette players, but please check your sound manager, mixer settings in your opperating system to make your you have an adjustable input setting for Mic and Line input attenuation as not all do and you may end up with a distorted mess. You may also find there is a small diagram of headphones or a microphone to indicate sound "in" and "out" ports.

If you have a mac
-------------------------

Appart fom me being envious :-) there are two sockets. On laptop types, on the side or on the tower types on the front, back or both. They have a diagram of a microphone and headphones. Hadphones is for audio output to headphones, speakers, hifi, dj mixer. The Microphone is a sound input. Please read above for microphone port usage. Hopefully this answers your question. Please also bear in mind that if you have no sound once plugged in, you may need to adjust the audio properties in the system in the system and/or program you may be using

I cant make on microphone go thru my amp mixer

It's obvious that there is a misunderstanding. Your FCA202 is designed to get line level inputs (not microphone level) and convert the signal to digital format for the computer to "undestand", it's working like an audio card. So in your case all you need is a microphone preamplifier to pass the signal from your mic to FCA202, or an audio mixer to do that.
