Try calling Shure at 800-516-2525. They are experts on their products and can help you troubleshoot. It's nearly impossible impossible to diagnose this in a forum.

Shure T2-CV Hand-held wireless mic - battery contacts are degraded and deformed. What do I need to replace the contacts or assembly?

Your best bet is to sontact Shure. They are always very helpful. Ask for the service department. These parts are readily available and are not expensive. Once you gain access to the internal board, changing the parts is trivial. I have ordered numerous sets of these in the past and keep some in stock as they fatigue after a while.

Have wireless mic that when turned on and you are talking into mic cuts out the music. How can I fix it so that the music stays on and I can voice over??

This is dependent on the mixer that you are plugging the music and microphone into. This is usually called "Ducking". Contact the mixer manufacturer to find out how to turn off the "ducking" feature.

On/off button broken

You should'nt need a scematic, this happens all the time with the ew100 handhelds. you will need to remove the three star bit screws between the screen and the batteries, pull off the end cover and with a small screwdriver or some long needle nose pliers- put the red button back into the hole from the inside of the cover. Just take care when putting the end cover back on- sometimes its a bit difficult.

* Make sure microphone is on * Check battery level, replace if necessary * Make sure the system is turned on, and appropriate audio levels are turned up * Check that audio "Mute" on the control system is not selected * Make sure microphone cord is securely plugged into belt pack * Check that the Mute switch on the microphone is set to "ON" and not "MUTE" goog luck!
