Low RAM

your p.c has four slots for ram 533Mhz. if your ram is low then you can purchase extra ram to speed up your computers processing power. either 512Mb or 1Gb sticks are available for your motherboard at 533Mhz. if this is not sufficient then you will have to upgrade your board to a newer more powerfull model. changing motherboard is not replacing the whole computer. see computer repair shop or vendor.

Microstar ms-6390 will not boot. The fan starts then stops as it begins to beep. The beep sounds like a siren or something high tone low tone over and over. It only stops when power is disconnected or...

The problem is-- your motherboard is not able to detect the system RAM.It's the sound you hear as siren.Open the PC and slowly remove the RAM from motherboard and clean the slot and the RAM legs with a clean white paper and place it again. It will solve your problem instantly if the RAM is not burn out.check the other RAM slot by placing the RAM again if the above procedure does not work.

If the problem still persists, replace the RAM.

Have you checked the fluid level? If not, it could indicate it's too low. This isn't a 'normal' sound, but hopefully topping off the gear oil in the rearend will quiet it down.

Motherboard tones

Hi, I believe you're quite right in assuming that the mb is still ok. Since you have tried replacing the video card and un/re-seat the memory, why not try replacing the memory with a known working one. Also it might be helpful to reset the bios to default by the jumper setting. It might be helpful for you to post the motherboard manufacturer and model number. Please let me know how it turns up. Regards.
