Question about Mitsubishi WS-55807 TV
If ws55807 it is not bad connections on the middle board where the two STK-392-570 convergence chips are.
I have seen this over 100 times in these sets. What happens is the pins break loose inside the chips----I have had ones where I unsoldered the pins and some just fall out--only the solder trying to hold them in.
The good news is Total parts cost for the repair on EBAY (I use a seller there) will be about 15 for the two chips and should be under 30 total for everything needed.
I also have start to finish step, by step instructions for this repair in this model---tell you everything you will need and the best way to do it.
I will attach a photo of a typical convergence IC---yours are up front on the middle board facing the front of the set.
If this information told you something you did not know, rate this solution as very helpful as I do this here for free.
Yours will have the STK-392-570 NUMBER ON THE FRONT OF THEM.
