SOURCE: I can't find an oil drain plug on a honda 5.5hp engine.gvc 160.

The engine drain plug is on the main (square) base part of the cylinder block. I think it is 10mm. There is a compression washer to seal it aswell so it might need a bit of extra pressure to start it undoing. This should drain your block almost completely.
For diagrams go here, you will need the engine serial number and prefix.

SOURCE: Honda gvc 160 not starting. cleaned the ventui & plug

Check the fuel.

Drain some of the fuel into a white contain...I use a paint can lid. If it yellow to orange in color it's bad. You can pour the fuel into your car to get rid of it. A car has electronics that will compensate for poor fuel quality, small engines don't.

Check spark.

Remove the spark plug and reinstall the wire. Lay plug on the engine block where it can contact it. Pull over the engine. You should see spark. If not change the plug. If still no, I give you further instructions.

Where is oil drain plug on troy-built waterpressure Honda GVC 190?

some small engines do not have a drain plug it may be at the bottom of the engine under neath where you can access it with a socket or hex key
or if none there , empty the fuel tank and pour the oil back out the filler tube
normally there is be around a pint (300 mls )
it may be a pain so check around underneath for the plug first
it is the same engine as used on lawn motors but with a different crankshaft to fit the pressure pump

Troy-bilt pressure washer 3000 max psi 2.7 gpm not getting gas

The carburetor ports and jets are likely clogged with gum from fuel that contains Ethanol. Avoid using any gasoline that contains Ethanol in small engines. Use only 100% gasoline. You can try the simple method first by adding some Lucas to the gasoline and a tad bit directly into the carburetor. Also, remove the bowl under the carburetor to see if it's gummed up and stopping the float from setting and rising. Simply clean the gum off with carburetor cleaner and replace the bowl. If this doesn't work then you'll likely need to remove the carburetor and do a thorough cleaning on it. Be sure to replace with new gaskets.

I have a Troy Built GVC 160 (2600 psi) pressure washer. I used yesterday afternoon without problem. Today, I can get it started, but it conks out immediately as soon as I engage the wand. I'd...

Make sure that the engine is set to full power. Lower the pressure to the unit with the pressure adjust knob as much as possible. Check the nozzle to make sure that no debris has entered and is lodged at the tip of the wand. Start the engine with the spray gun handle in the open /on position allowing water to flow thru. Allow the engine to run for a while to warm-up. Increase the pressure a small amount at a time to reach the desired pressure. To increase the life of the unit, do not use the machine at max. pressure setting. Adjust to about 75% of rated capacity and increase only for stubborn debris then reduce. Good luck
