Question about Kenmore 24032\24036 Top Load Washer

1 Answer

Have purchased a Tellman 9kg top loader machine but the water fills very slowly. We are not in town so do not have mains pressure. We live on a farm which tends to be low pressure. Do they have a flow restrictor fitted. If so how do you remove same. Regards - Athol

I would not remove any of the filters etc from the system. Your best solution is to fit a pump into your supply line.
Somethimg like this would work: http://www.freshwatersystems.com/p-3613-davey-bt14-45-booster-system-with-torrium-45-psi-14-gpm.aspx
Hi there. I have a 9kg Tech-Magic Top loader. I loaded it with towels. It filled with cold water then it shut down-altho all the lights still working..it just stopped 1nc it reached desired capacity.

Maybe it is over loaded.....
Remove the towels and put into a bucket.....

Using a plastic bowl...try removing some of the water to see if it comes on after closing the lid again....

If all else fails, also try unplugging the unit for 30 minutes and plugging it back in.

Good Luck!

My samsung top loader washing machine sw65v9w won't stop filling with water

If the water stops when you stop the cycle, then the pressure sensor is at fault. If you need to turn the water supply off to stop it, then the water inlet valve is at fault.

Water not coming with force in Fisher & Paykel SmartDrive Top-loa

Try taking the cold hose of at the tap and check to see if has a little mesh filter in there. This could be blocked up with gunk.

Water does not switch off automatically when full. It overflows. The machine will not run when the water is turned off at the tap.

If this a front loader machine, the water entry is a timed event. If a top loader, there is a water level switch located on the top of a tube which comes up from the bottom of the outer tub and is near the machine top. The switch is really a pressure switch, which requires no air leakage from the tube or switch to function (the rising water level in the tube generates the needed pressure). Open the machine top to watch what occurs when filling and manually check the operation of the switch.

My duet front loader will fill with a large

there are two water valves above the soap drawer, that are sping loaded to stay shut when power is off. if the water pressure to the machine has increased, sat due to an increase in main pressure from the water board fixing a leek further up the supply, then this could force open the valves. try turning the stop valves at the inlet pipe end, away from the machine, down a quarter turn and see if this stops it.

Whirlpool top loader

You either have a defective pressure switch or water inlet valve. Start to fill the machine with warm water so that both solenoids on the water inlet valve (hot and cold) are activated. After about 30-60 seconds, push the timer knob in to stop water flow. If the water continues to flow, replace the water inlet valve. If this is the case, it may take a few times of starting and stopping water flow to allow solenoid to heat up and become symptomatic. If water flow stops abruptly each time knob is pushed in, you most likely have a defective pressure switch (water level switch).
