Weird error message

Whenever you have a problem like this, start with the simple fix. Reset the electronics by removing the batteries, waiting a few seconds and replacing them.

My Nikon F80 won't load y film automatically, it has a FEE error on the screen but i don't know what that is??

The lens you are using has the aperture ring set to something the camera cannot use. Simply turn the aperture ring to the largest number, usually a 22 or 32. Lock that ring if there is a lock and the fee should be gone.

Can't load the camera, it is a nikonF80

The F80 was called the N80 in North America. You can download the N80 manual from
http://butkus.org/chinon/nikon/nikon_n80/nikon_n80.htm

You'll find illustrated instruction for loading film beginning on page 20.

MY CAMERAS SAYING FEE, its not working

This is found in the F80 manual page 99. it means the CPU Nikkor lens (other than G-Type) is not set to its minimum aperture. Solution: set the lens to the largest f/stop such as f/22. This FEE error is the same for almost all Nikon cameras, be they film or digital.

I have a 35mm nikon camera. I've changed the batteries but the film won't load. how can i load the film?

Here is what to look at: Custom Function number 8, "Auto film load when back is closed", default setting is 1 disabled on 0 it is enabled. If you have the manual for the F80 (same as N80) look on page 21 and page 72 and 73.If that is not the issue check the following: With the new batteries does the camera turn on, Can you focus, does the LCD light up? All that will let you know if you are getting power to the camera. If the answer is yes then the film should load so now check the inside of the camera back. Does it have the pressure are and roller next to the hinge. If that is missing then when you pull the film to the red dot, close the camera back there is nothing to put pressure on the film for it to load.

I have a half way through film in my Nikon F80 and I have changed the batteries. At first it wouldn't go on, there would be the error sign blinking after turning it on. I turned it on and off several times...

You can force your camera to rewind, but you will have a partially shot roll of film. If you continue to shoot your counter will be off but when the film cannot advance any more the camera will rewind.

Film didn't catch spool.

ERR sign keeps blinking in the lcd

First check the batteries. Are they fully charged? If you still have the same problem, try this:

Is the film (that which did not rewind fully) still in the camera? If so, open the film chamber door once in a dark room and close it again. Try to rewind the film again. This could possibly be the result of the film getting stuck somewhere, preventing the camera from rewinding it.

My camera won't do anything but flash the Err message

Make sure the lens you are using on the camera is set to the minimum aperture setting. i.e. f22,f32 (highest f stop number)
