option 1: While the power is turned off hold the power button and up volume button by pressing them. Keep holding them until something appears on the screen. Then release and you should be given the option to erase all the data from the Kocaso tablet

option 2: there should be a tiny pinhole sized button on the back of the device. stick a clutch-pencil tip (or a pin) into it to reset it

How do I return my msi wind u180 to factory settings

Use the recovery partition on your MSI laptop to recover its original factory settings. Recovering your MSI laptop to its original factory settings will resolve problems with instability that you may be experiencing as a result of missing system files that were accidentally deleted. Recovering your MSI laptop to its original factory settings will also completely remove any viruses on your computer's hard drive that you were unable to remove with anti-virus software. Fortunately, you can wipe all of the information off your laptop's hard drive and start with a clean slate.

  • 1
Turn on or restart your laptop. Press "F3" repeatedly when the MSI logo appears on the screen during the boot process to be redirected to the "Windows Boot Manager."
  • 2
Highlight "Windows Setup [EMS Enabled]" using the arrow keys on the keyboard. Press "Enter" to access the recovery partition on the hard drive of the MSI laptop. The "System Recovery Option" dialog box will appear on the screen. Click "MSI Recovery Manager." Click "OK" when a message appears on the screen notifying you that your computer will be restored to its original factory settings.
  • 3
Click "OK" when a message appears notifying you that the hard drive will be formatted to begin the recovery process. A dialog box with a status bar will appear to indicate how much time is left in the recovery process. Depending on the size of your hard drive as well as how much personal data needs to be erased, the recovery process could take up to 45 minutes.

Click "OK" when a dialog box appears on the screen indicating that the recovery process is complete. Your laptop will automatically restart and boot up to the Windows setup screen, where you can begin personalizing the settings for your Windows operating system.

My keyboard is typing numbers instead of alphabets

Hello abeebissa, First try hitting the FN(function key) + numlock, if that didnt help try FN + F11(have heard some models use this instead) If that doesnt work you can go to Programs>Acer >Acer eRecovery Management choose "yes" at the prompt then, a window gives you the options to Backup, Restore, Settings, or Help. Click on Restore. This will give you a choice of Completely Restore System to Factory Defaults, Restore Operating System and Retain User Data, or Reinstall Drivers or Applications. Pick Operating System and Retain User Data. Just follow instructions from there.

Welcome to FixYa, the world's largest product support community.

I just want to verify the problem here... If you press a certain key the computer identifies or sees it as a different keystroke? Say you press the letter A, instead of getting the letter A up on the screen it gives you something else?

If that is the case it sounds like an issue with the keyboard itself. You see a Keybaord doesn't have a driver unlike other components like the sound card or the video card, unfortunately. If you wish to check and see if it is a define Keyboard hardware problem, on many Sony models, holding alt + F10 at boot will start the factory restore process. You can restore the computer to it's factory settings to isolate the issue, if restoring the computer to factory settings doesn't fix the issue, then the whole keyboard assemble needs to be replaced.

I hope this sheds some light on the issue your having w/ your laptop.

No question just stating how i feel about acer products! i have both acer desktop and laptop, have been using them for 7 years and find them to be PERFECT;would not have anything else!! thank...

Thank you very much for letting us know. Also for your information, if there is any Windows issue on the computer & unable to resolve the issue, please find the below mentioned steps to resolve the issue:

You can restore the computer back to factory default,to do so, follow the below steps: Turn OFF the computer, now as soon as you hit the power button, keep on holding "Alt" key & keep on tapping "F10" key, i.e Alt+f10, it will open the recovery console, select full factory restore and follow onscreen instruction.
NOTE: This will erase all the datas on the computer.

You can also create a set to Recovery disk from the recovery partition, to do so

Start Menu> All Programs> Acer erecovery management> Click Create Factory Default Disk, if you receive any error code or unable to burn the disk, please contact Acer Technical support at 1 800 816 2237 and order for an Recovery Disk.

Thanks and regards,

How do i reset my yamaha dx 100 back to original factory settings

yamaha dx100 reset. Press voice switches 1 and 2 while turning power switch on. Display will say test entry?. press the plus/yes button. This will reinitialize all memory to factory settings. Also the lithium ram backup battery voltage will be displayed as check level with a number representing the battery voltage. The number will be 10 times the actual battery voltage. A new battery will display 33 representing 3.3 volts. If your reading is below 22 then your battery is shot and will need replacing and if you turn the unit off it will probably get a scrambled memory again.
