Question about Sony Handycam DCR-DVD403 DVD Camcorder
MiniDVD camcorders are extremely picky about what discs they will accept. In the user manual or on the camcorder, it should say if it is R or RW. Also, there is a difference in DVD- and DVD+ Make sure that you are using the appropriate disc. I have had good luck with the brand Maxell. Sony will, most of the time, take this disc and then "recommend" that you use a Sony disc. If this does not solve the problem, you may have a bad laser assy.
