How do I unfreeze my mp3 player

Manually breaking the power connection should resolve the issue.
This is what I did when my GoGear VIBE 4GB froze up:

Carefully peel up the UPC code strip on back of player. (There is a tiny screw underneath it)
Carefully remove screw. (The snap notches are 'L' shaped inside the edges of the case).
Gently slide/pry open the backside of the case, taking care NOT to break the snap notches.
Close case, restart/turn on player.

Instructions say slide the cover off with your thumb, but it won't budge at all!!!!

Hi, i take it you have got a new phone and your trying to get the back off to get to the battery and sim card, it will slide off just make sure your sliding it the right way, they are very stiff when new but trust me it will come off dont worry about breaking it because it wont break, try pushing down on it as your pushing it off.

if you cup your hands together so that your holding the phone and your 2 thumbs are on top of the phone on the part that needs to slide off, hold the phone so your sliding the back cover away from you then using both your thumbs push down and slide it off, it will come off their just a bit stiff the first few times, pushing down on it help release it from the clips.

have you thumbs so their half way up the back of the phone in the middle then push down quite hard and slide your thumbs so your pushing the case off away from you, it will go its just a bit stiff the first few times,

if you have any problems let me know make and model and ill double check it is suppose to slide off and in which way it slides off

let me know then i can assist you further ok

please rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks

My screen is frozen

Hello tara_martell,

Have you tried doing a soft reset? All your information is retained when performing a soft reset. These soft reset instructions are from the Centro Tips, Hints and Shortcuts manual:

1: Press Power/End (Red Button) to turn off the screen

2: Slide the battery door downward (on back of the Centro) to remove it from the Centro

3: Remove the battery from the battery compartment

4: Align the metal contacts on the battery with the contacts inside the battery compartment, insert the battery, and then press it into place

5: Slide the battery door onto the back of the Centro until it slides into place

If this solution is helpful please click a thumbs-up rating below.

Have a great day,

My lg chocolate 3 froze and i dont know what to

Switch off the phone. Take the battery off and wait for a few minutes. Then put the battery back and switch it on. If it still doesn't work, take off your memory card and switch your phone back on (without the memory card).

Slide the back off. To do this turn the phone over (camera side facing down) and with your thumb (or thumbs) slide the back of the phone towards the base. Once you do this you will see the battery. Remove the battery and there is the sim card

Phone froze

On the back of your phone right under the camera there is a small tab. Press it upwards and the battery should pop off.
