I would personally contact fridgidaire direct or the retailer that you purchased it from and see what they suggest, sounds like an electronic fault in the control panel

Frigidaire dishwasher noticeably louder - circulation motor?

Try to position the machine, so that you can run the cycle and watch the dish washer. Remove the back panel and hear the sound of origination. Take suitable action as per your convenience. You can clean & replace the bearings if they are worn or replace as a whole unit.

It is starting to make loud grinding noises

Hello,

It does sound as if you have an issue with the pump it may have broken glass or some sort of debris that has already done internal damage to the pump impellor, especially if the noise has been there for a while. The one option is an inspection of the pump for wear or blockage.Hope this has helped.

Good Luck.

Plastic Pieces

It sounds like the pieces of plastic are coming from the disintegration of the main pump impeller.

I've never heard of this problem, so I would say it is not common.

GU1500XTL loud humming sound during the cycle, getting louder

The run capacitor on the main wash motor needs replacing. Eventually it will just hum and overheat instead of rotating, so better replace it now before it overheats.

I doubt you can acces it easily yourself, as it may be away from the motor, and have to be tracked down.

Loud grinding noise that should go way after one complete cycle. After 3 cycles it just gets louder and louder.

Remove the lower spray assembly and clean out the sump area.
Probably broken glass or a loose screw got in there.
