You may have moved the little slider on your memory card that makes the card write protected. Remove the card and slide the little switch on the left hand side.

Everytime i put my camrea on it says ''wright project'' how can i get it off

You declined to specify what model Olympus camera, so I'm assuming it uses SD/SDHC cards. I'm also assuming it actually says "write protect."
SD and SDHC cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

Hi, The camera shows" This memory

You didn't specify the make and model of your camera, so I'm going to assume it uses SD cards.

My memory card is wright protected ,how can i unprotect it?

Hi there,

Take our your memory card. There should be a small tab on the upper left of the card that can be adjusted either up or down. Just adjust it in reverse of the present position to unprotect it.

Hope this helps. Thank you for using FixYa.

Disk wright protection

1.Look for a switch or button on the side of the micro SD card or adapter. It might have a lock/unlock symbol on it. 2.Move the switch to the "Unlocked" position to remove write protection. This position may also be labeled "R/W" for read/write. If you have no switch, continue to Step 3. 3.Download and install Sony EzRecover and attempt to use it to format the card (this will erase all content). If this doesn't work, try Step 4. 4.Delete and repartition the micro SD card using Windows XP. Select "Control Panel" > "Administrative Tools" > "Disk Management." Select the micro SD drive and click "Delete." Right-click on empty drive and select "New Partition."

Put them into "my sounds" folder or into a music folder and use them from there. The ring tones are wright-protected.

My memory card is write to remove it?

Some SD cards have write protect tab on the side but not all do so check for that tab. If it does not have write protect it may be you device you using it with or the memory card as a whole has gone out on you.

1. Check for write protected tab on the sides of the card
2. Check the device (try reformatting it in a card reader)

3. Replace memory stick.

Thanks and please do be considerate when leaveing feedback and ratings today, thanks

I recently bought a micro mini, transfered pics from cell phone, put micro into the min adapter and into my laptop, and laptop did not see it. Tried another mini disk and the drive works...

See if the adapter has a small switch on it (for wright protect) an move it . if this not solves the problem try another adapter (ask somebody to borrow one). if it`s still not working your MicroSD may be compromised, but this is really hard to happen.

Camera card said it is full

Does the memory card have a 'write-protect' lock on it? on an SD card this is a small plastic lever on the top right edge.
Have you tried to format the card with the camera?
Can you read and write to the card with a computer and card reader?
Does this card work in any other cameras?
