Solution: Go to Home Depot and purchase a hammer. Store the hammer in an accessible location, near to the door and not far from a phone.
Next time your boyfriend arrives, reach for your hammer and bonk him over the head. Be sure to stay near to the phone as you'll probably need to call 911 as well as your lawyer.

How to hook up Panasonic SB PM19 speakers to SA-PM23 reciever

yes you can. these are called "bi wired" speakers which means there's a hook up for the woofer and the tweeter individually. If your amp have just 2 speaker hookups it's no problem to hook the woofer/tweeter wires of each speaker together. If your amp had 4 speaker hookups, you could put the tweeters in 1 and the woofers in the other but it will still work fine with 2 speaker hookups.

My 42' vizio flat screen tv's internal speakers are shot and I already ordered replacement speakers and I was wondering how you take apart the tv and replace the speakers

you could alos hook up external speakers to it, audio outputs, to a reciever but if your going ot take it apart its rather easy. take a very long skinny screw driver and just take out the screwes, and the back panel comes off real easy like. take out the speakers, make sure you mark possitive and negative on the speaker you take out. just make a knot in the possitive wire and then hook up new speakers and make sure the possitive wire goes to the possitive end of new speaker connect the netgative wire and replace speaker and your done. now replace the panel, the speakers should be screwed in.if not they are glued, with screws, but i would forget that and simply go external to a reciever, and a 5 in one sorround sound unit, way easier,

Can I hook these directly to my TV

No. The jacks on the back of your tv are line level. That means no power. To get the power, you need a reciever. Red and white RCA wires will go from your tv's out and the other end to an input on your reciever, and your speaker will be wired to the speaker out jacks on your reciever.

My boyfriend hooked up my speakers in my car to my cdx-gt200, now my cd player wont even come on. He never touched any of the connection wires for the player. At first he could not find the remote turn on...

change the fuse behind the system.
"so he hooked it up to the left front speaker wire, then found the remote turn on wire and hooked it up to it." will have burned the sound system or not. remove the new installation, test it, reinstall, test again.

Reciever shuts off

Hi there

May I ask how many watts can your reciever handle ? And how many watts does your speakers need in order to be powered up (input). The two speakers you have installed might be too powerful for your reciever to handle. You might have to down grade to less powered speakers. All in all you have an excellent product there good choice...

Overload Problem

If your rec'vr worked with the original front and rear speakers, the new speakers are either defective or ar the wrong impedance.
Also, I find this confusing: "I connected the wiring for 1 of the front speakers to the connection on the rear of the receiver". This may indicate wrong wiring connection. Make sure you have connected the speakers properly
