I HAVE SONY WALKMAN NWD-B103F- BATTERY DOES NOT LAST FOR 10 MINUTES-AFTER CHARGING ON COMPUTER

The battery does not hold charge. It is weak. Replace it with same type number. Brand name of the battery isn't a matter, check its type number printed on it.

I had a Bodygroom and had to replace it because the power button got stuck and wouldn't turn on. The new one was fine for a while but did the same thing. I have noticed that after a while it will work...

Same thing happened to me so I took the thing apart and that's all it took. The compartment that contains the battery and chip had a vacuum built up that prevented the button from being depressed. Once I opened it and released the pressure the switch worked again.

The Philips Norelco Bodygroom BG2040, does this model support multi-voltage charging ie. 100v - 240v? Or is it only 100-120v?

Welcome to Fixya,

According to the manual of The Philips Norelco Bodygroom BG2040, use only the cord and charging stand that was provided. Also you just have to plug the adaptor into 120V AC outlet.

My mpv5 power indicator says i havea full charge but after about 15 minutes of travel the lighs go to 2 red bars. if i stop and turn it off for 5 minutes it will go to full charge, but for only about 3...

Nothing against hove-round ,but to me it sounds like the problem may be do to a bad cell in one the the two battery's .This will cause an uneven charge which will be a result of the problem that you are having now. Also make sure the two battery's are new, they should have markers on them that say the month and year. Also make sure that your charger is working .when you plug that chair in ,turn it on see if it will move and see if the light are flashing.that will let you know if its reading that its being charged.

when you find the bad battery and replace it and its saying its fully charged and it does this to you again. The last thing it could be .is your motors are going bad the breaks are over loading the power.

Good luck hope i was of some help.

Hurts when shaving facial hair like its pulling it out

Check the shaver head for damage. Most likely, there is damage to the thin foil. If so, you will find a replacement at shaveroutlet.com. See link below

Repair philips bodygroom. The on off button is stuck in. how do i take it apart to repair

Hi, I've just fixed mine (accidentally). I took it to the repair shop and before I went there I'd left it in the car for a while with sub zero temperatures. The cold did its part on the switch which has some magnet or metal on the inside and it let go - it ain't stuck any more and it functions normally. Just PUT YOUR PHILLIPS IN THE FREEZER FOR 30 MIN and that should fix it. If you need more info e mail me on g_barbari@yahoo.com .

New batteries in Smart UPS 700 only lasts 2 minutes at 30% load

If you blistered your older batteries a good chance your inverter is going or will go bad. The heat alone can do damage to your components. Time to replace the unit and remember next time not to wait so long to replace your batteries. Replacement of batteries every three to approaching four years is a good idea.

My Powercom UPS battery backup is lasting for 5 minutes than it is shutting down. Can you provide me the solution. Model No. is 2200APRM1320W It is very urgent, please.

The UPS can temporarily provide power to IT hardware in the event of a disruption to the Mains power supply. The UPS should stay powered up for long enough to enable the hardware it is protecting to be powered down in a controlled manner, before shutting off itself. The 5 minute period seems reasonable for such a task (although significantly less than the rated time), and if at any point within that period the Mains power supply comes back online, the hardware could continue to work.

I note that this particular model is supposed to provide battery power for 85 - 95 minutes. The amount of time it can supply regulated voltage for will depend upon the load placed upon it. The greater the load (in terms of current drawing devices), the shorter the amount of time that the UPS will be able to provide power.

There may be a Manufacturer Limited Warranty period (parts): 2 years for this model, although labour charges will probably be made.
