If its overfilling:-- If your washer is overfilling, check these: Water-inlet valve A defect in the water-inlet valve may mean that it's no longer able to shut off completely when the electricity has been turned off to it. If this occurs, the valve may leak and drip water into the clothes tub. In time, the water may accumulate substantially. If this happens, you need to replace the valve. Water-level switch A defect--or an obstruction--in the water-level switch may mean that it can't tell the water to shut off. So the machine overflows. This switch senses the water level in the clothes tub. It's usually a diaphragm device with a small, clear tube attached between the switch and the bottom of the washer's outer tub. As the water level in the tub increases, the pressure on the air in the tube increases. When the pressure reaches a certain level, it activates the switch, shuts off the water, and signals the timer to begin the agitate cycle. You can either clear any obstruction in the tube or replace the water-level

Thank you... took of two screws on the back top, and on the front unscrewed the two screws on the bottom of the top panel. And there was the hose, unconnected to the switch.

I attached and screwd it back together..... you saved me some money to solve that one... thanks.

My Vabis 2010 washer shuts down during the rinse cycle rinsing normal-soiled items with cold water

FE: Water inlet valve stuck open
Water valve is stuck open and needs to be replaced. The best way to check if the water valve is the problem is to remove the top cover, run the machine to get the water running. While the water is filling, remove the connector to the water valve that is filling. If the water continues to run without the connector, the valve needs to be replaced. If the water stops flowing when disconnected, you may have a control board problem and will need it to be replaced

My H3 Hummer 2006 is giving me p1516 p2176 p2135 p2176 and p2135 codes what to do so I fix it

code p 2176 refers to both the accelerator position sensor E and the throttle position sensor E--maximum stop performance ===causes --wiring---APP or TP sensor
code p 2135 refers to same items but switchF A/B- voltage correlation or implausable signal===causes --same as previous
I have no listing for a p 1516 as the book does not cover it but I am guessing that it is a specific code to hummer and still related to the problem area of the APP or TP units
if you find and fix the APP or TP problems then that code by go

Dishwasher wont fill up with water

When you start the dishwasher you have probably noticed that it first drains water and is very important to hear that drain pump running all the time or stops after a while? Why?
If the drain pump runs constantly then the fault is in the phase of "drain water" or is activated anti-flood system. Reset point of pressostat is not reached after max. 120secs. Programme stop and can be continued after error remedy by pressing the programme key.

If the pump is running for a while and then stops, then the fault is in phase "fill up water". Switchpoint of pressostat is not reached
after max. 60 secs.

Usually built-in dishwashers has anti-flood system that responds in the event of water in the bottom of the dishwasher. Such a case, find and repair water leaks.

Frigidaire side by side refrigerator and freezer not working

Hi on most cases if your freezer or fridge stop working correctly at some point by not cooling or freezing right. It my be backed up by ice in your unit. which will prevent your fridge from venting or draining on to the pan. I think the condensor or little look alike radiator will be frozen up. Most cases the drain area will be back up with ice preventing your freezer from working properly. Need to remove items from freezer and try to fix it by adding warm water to the drain area or call a profesional for help

PRESUER VALVE KEEP LIFTING WHENWATER HEATER IS RUNNING

If water is exceptionally hot, the TP will release water.
Is water hotter than normal?
Or TP will release water when TP has gone bad.
Replace TP and see what happens.

Have a GE GG40T6A gas hot water tank. Leaking really bad out of the pressure relief valve. It is a rental property, gas was off to the house (tenants moved out in the night). When the gas company turned...

12 year old water heater is getting near the end.
Some tanks last 20 years, but that's the exception.
To find exact age of your brand water heater:
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/WaterHeaterSerialNumberDecoder.pdf

Leaking TP valve:
1) Lift TP lever and gently lower back into position to see if that stops leak.
Occasionally something gets stuck in the valve.
2) Sometimes water heater temperature gets turned up because heater is not producing as much hot water as before, and higher temps cause TP to release pressure because of overheating.
Dial temperature down to 120 degrees.
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-adjust-water-heater-temperature.html

3) If steps above don't fix problem, replace TP valve >> TP valves have 125 or 150 degrees rating >>> older tank shouldn't be running above 125 because higher temps cause more pressure on tank, so thermostat should be lower than 125 degrees TP rating.
Buy replacement TP at any hardware store + a roll of teflon tape to seal pipe threads.
Turn gas control to pilot ... this will keep pilot lit but burner will not fire.
Let water cool, and then drain some water out of tank.
If TP valve is on side of tank, then open drain on side of tank and drain water until it is lower than valve level. Open bathtub spigot to let air into line.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Water-heater-will-not-drain.html
Be careful around water that is higher than 120 degrees F >> you can get burned quickly >> apply cold water to any burn.
Use pipe wrench and unscrew TP valve counterclock-wise.
Install new TP and put teflon tape on threads.
Re-fill tank completely and open tub valve on hot side until water is running >> then turn gas control back to original position.
Do not fire up any water heater before tank is completely full of water or this could damage tank.

The Series 10 and 11 machines have three level fill points the Series 12 and above have two level fill points.

I know Bulky Items wash selection will give you a High water fill which is only 7 inches or so of water in the wash basket. 3.5 inches of water for a medium fill.

You can turn on/open the water inlet valves in Service Mode but I would not recommend that. A manual fill as you did is the only safe way to set the additional water level IMOP.
