I need help finding hp officejet 5610 all-in-one free softeware to download for my printer. I missed placed my disk. also are you supposse to unplug something before proceding to download.

Download the software and drivers from HP and reinstall.

Reload your installation software. If you don't have it, use the Internet to download the latest drivers and patches from HP.com. Save them to your PC and make your own CD or, purchase a drivers disk direct from HP.

Can't get a disk, however the same installation can be accomplished by downloading the files from HP support:

Click on your operating system > Download > Install

the CD you have is fine for 5610, HP printer drivers are desgin for printer series . ex: 56xx, 4000, etc. yo will not find driver for 5610, but 5600 series driver.

If you do not have the software, you need to download the software from one of the following locations:

Select your operating system HP Officejet 5610 All-in-One Printer




After downloading is finished, unplug the printer USB and run the software that you downloaded.
The software installer will tell you when to connect USB.
