Question about Heating & Cooling
The transformer is blowing the fuse because somewhere down the line two thermostat wires are shorted together. You gotta trace that out till you find the shorted wiring first. It is unlikely a component would blow that fuse. Most of the time it is wires chewed up or dry rotted and touching.
