Re: My sixaxis and bluetooth headset do not get along!! ...
Is the headset set as a controller? The sixaxis needs to be set as Controller 1. When you turn on the headset it could be assigned to position 1 and be pushing the controller down the list, which stops it working with most games. Some people had the same issue with their bluetooth remote.
Go to the settings section and reassign all of your equipment so that remotes, headsets, keyboards etc are all listed AFTER controllers.

Re: My sixaxis and bluetooth headset do not get along!! ...
People with the same issue in their PS3 rants, suggesting it is a problem with the Bluetooth
screwing up, which makes complete sense. Will I have to just buy a really long USB cable like he did?
The answer is YES! (For now this is a widely used solution, until a better fix is in place. This has
worked for about 60% of the people that have tried this.)
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

1) Make sure both of your devices have Bluetooth capability and that they have power and the Bluetooth is currently on. A LED should indicate the device is on.
2) Turn OFF the headset;
3) Open the Control Panel - In case you are using a PC, go to the Control panel and select Devices and Printers. If your PC has a Bluetooth capability there is a device called Bluetooth Adapters that should be there already. In case you do not have that device already listed make sure it has been installed in your PC.
4) Turn ON the laptop Bluetooth switch - Some PCs have a physical switch that allows you the turn On/Off this device outside the case of the laptop.Make sure the switch is on the On position.
5) On the control panel there is a selection available to "Add New Connection (Bluetooth)"
6) Turn On the headset - holding it near the laptop and click that option in the Control Panel screen.
7) Wait for the pairing to show up in the screen.
It should work normally from that time on. Additionally, confirm if the sound is working in your computer and then, in the headset. In case it is not working you will have the change the settings in the Sound tab of the Control Panel.
Well, it's simple. what kind of controller do you have, and how old is it? the 2 Sony six axis controllers i bought with my ps3 had buttons that stopped working on them. so it is possible if it is an old controller that the sixaxis just simply "went out" BUT when psn does go back up tomorrow download the little big planet demo or pop the game in if you already have it. it uses the sixaxis to move their heads. GTA4 also has sixaxis parts to it. and you can access that in the phone menu while playing the game. But you might just have to buy another controller if yours isn't working. Hope it helps!
This is the most annoying prob I've ever encountered with a Bluetooth headset. This particular one has the most horrible earhook that breaks if you look at it the wrong way. I was able to locate one on Ebay but it broke 2 weeks in. It's ridiculous. And of course Verizon store that sold me the headset has no replacement hooks. Because of this, I would NEVER buy another LG bluetooth device.

I picked up the folling troubleshooting tips from the PlayStation Knowledge Center. I know it may seem silly or insulting; This is not my intention. You have to do 2 things in order to use a bluetooth headset on your ps3. First you have to pair it with the ps3. To do this you go to your setting and register the bluetooth device. Make sure your bluetooth device is in pairing mode when you do this. On most headsets you can simply hold down the button until the light comes on a solid color. once it is in pairing mode you will have to scan for new devices. Once this is done you should see the headset on the list. Choose it and enter your pairing code. If you have not set one it will most likely be 0000. Once it is it paired you will have to change your audio output and input. Go to audio device settings and change the input and output device to your headset name. Enjoy!
