Question about Hotpoint Aquarius WF000 Front Load Washer
Disconnect the power and water hoses if you have to pull out the unit the power is a must to turn off though .
open the lid and most of the time you can yank up be careful not to hurt your back from the position you have to be in.
and try not to yank up to the point you bend the top a small screwdriver on the side seam about a inch down gently pry but you can scratch the unit so be careful unless your not to worried do this in the front part when you hear a pop it will be kinda hard their are steel clips that hold the top in place they can be a pain when it releases you tilt up like the lid careful not to damage wires.
then you can locate the trash trap it will be plastic remove the crud and lower the top back down to re clip you press and bump hard on top edge and the top will re seat. re-hook water and test for leaks plug in and test run looking for a leak if none use the washer be careful if their is a leak and unplug power if their is do not stand in water and grab the power line it can be lethal hope this helps
