One of your applications are changing your color scheme to 16-bit because it isn't compatible with your OS or graphics card. Try reinstalling your drivers, then disabling programs one by one when the problem occurs. For example, games that used to run on windows XP or older tended to change the color scheme and resize the monitor to 480p.
It should, if its designed for Windows xp you should be fine!
If it does not work/says you have 64bit try right clicking installer click properties, compatibility and set to windows xp.
When you do that install it.
Right click the exe and repeat the compatibility stuff. Tell me if it works.
Unfortunately,Dota 2 was only available to Windows and Ubuntu. You should try redownloading it,since it's now out for Linux(Your OS).If that doesn't work, you might aswell be updating your graphics driver from
Bad or conflicting drivers. First go in the BIOS and disable the onboard card. Then boot into Safe mode and uninstall all the ATI drivers you can find in Device Manager then reboot normally. Finally install the newest driver from here
Seems like your video card just is either a little broken, maybe it overheated a couple of times to much, or it simply isn't fast enough to display all these games.
If I were you and I'd want to play these games, I'd buy a new PC.
For US$500 you've got a PC that can easily run these games on high without any problems.
I'm afraid there's no other way to fix this problem, your PC is just too old.
You should be able to get them back by going to the control panel>programs and features>windows components and selecting the games tab. If they are all ticked, untick them, apply, then go back and tick them all again, apply and you should be all set.
The following was taken from http://www.busdrivergame.com/support.php#14Based on the below description, I believe your problem would be solved by updating your video card drivers. The ones that ship with the card on cd are always very old. Here is a link to get the new drivers from NVIDIA.You did not say, so I will assume you have Windows XP, if so, here is the link for the most recent driver:http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_175.19_whql.htmlIf you do not have XP, then go to this link and find one for you OShttp://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-usIf this works, I would appreciate a rating, I am new to fixya and would like to get a good rating. Thanks and Good Luck!!14. I get a message saying: We are sorry, but the operating system failed to provide the window to render game graphics in. Bus Driver immediately crashes with a Prism3D error.
There are several possible causes for this to happen. In most cases, the critical element of resolving the problem is upgrading video card drivers. (See #8 above)
Reportedly, some computer vendors ship new machines with the system preconfigured, but without proper drivers for the particular brand of 3D accelerator card installed, including OpenGL support. Make sure to always have proper up to date 3D card drivers installed.
Upgrades of certain Windows components (upgrade of DirectX, a Service Pack application) may require driver reinstallation afterwards.
You may have your desktop color depth (Color quality) in Windows set to 256 colors. Make sure you have Windows running in 16-bit or 32-bit color depth.
You may be using a very old computer with hardware capabilities below minimum specifications required to run Bus Driver.
