I have a problem with my Samsung model no. Sr-L628EV water gathers under the chiller drawer, any idea?

Not familiar with this particular model, however it sounds like a plugged drain. Your refrigerator has a drain that leads to the exterior drain pan beneath the refrigerator. Occasionally this drain can become clogged with gunk, resulting in standing water at the bottom of the refrigerator. (A similar drain exists in the freezer, which when clogged results in ice build up on the floor of the freezer).

The drain is located either on the floor of the refrigerator, beneath the vegetable crisper, or in the wall behind a drain funnel.

Try c
learing the drain by forcing a solution of water and bleach or water and baking soda into it with a basting syringe. If the solution will not flow through, slide a length of ΒΌ inch flexible tubing into the drain tube to push the clog through to the drain pan. Remove the tubing after clearing the clog.

Condensate line seems to be clogged. How do you

Usually the clog is at the top of the hose. you may have to open up the area where cooling coils are, let the ice melt then clear the drain. There could possibly be a problem with the defrost heater (which is in that same area) or the defrost themostat. But if your unit is trying to defrost, then if the drain is clogged, there will be an ice build up that the defrost heater cant fully melt before it goes back to the freezing mode.

Ice build up on bottom freezer

Ice build up on the freezer floor alone, with no ice on shelves or food above the floor, usually indicates a clogged defrost drain problem. when your unit goes into defrost, the melt water is intended to go down a drain tube from the freezer to a pan on the outside bottom of the unit, usually near the compressor. Sometimes these drains are clogged with food debris, other times some of the melt water does not completely drain, and freezes - this build up of ice can then clog the drain. You can unplug the fridge, with both doors open and a fan blowing for 24 hours to temporarily remove the ice and water, but it will return most likely, in which case you would need to have the drain cleared out and / or have a drain heater installed by a qualified refrigerator repair service.

Ice collecting under bottom of Freezer drawer/ seal round door intact/ food staying frozen/ Ice is cleared periodically but then builds up again

Your defrost drain hole is clogged. Look for the drain hole in the bottom rear of the freezer section. Turn off the fridge. Heat the drain hole with a hair dryer and clear the ice. Pour a quarter cup of bleach into the hole.

Water leaking under frigerator on the left side

HI,

your drain is clogged. you may have a catch for your drain where you see leak coming from. that may pull off and you can see if their is trash build up in it. you are going to need to take the panel off the back of freezer. inside back of freezer you will see screws. they will need to come out, If you have ice maker that will need to be removed also. once back panel is off you will see your coils beneath the coils it will most likely have a sheet of ice. turn machine off and take a hair dryer and defrost the ice. once ice is gone take a cup of hot water and run thru drain to see if unclogged. repeat if drain is not clear. the ice in drain tube will eventually un clog. use a steamer. much quicker.

any further question let me know.

KGU3200GB, Freezer working normally but there is a build up of ice inside on floor which eventually leads to water on floor

Behind the evaporator cover on the inside of the unit is a small drain hole that is either clogged or frozen over. First clear away the ice with some hot water or a steam cleaner to expose the drain. Next try pouring hot water down the drain, if its clogged you can usually clear it with high pressure steam or by removing the drain tube, which you can get to from the back under the unit. If all it is is frozen over the a 14 gauge wire wrapped around the heater and extended into the drain hole a few inches should solve you problem. Good Luck!

Excessive Frost and Ice Build up in Freezer

sounds like you have a clogged defrost drain tube. removing back panel of freezer will give you acess to drain trough, melt away the ice with a hair dryer, youll find a drain hole under there somwhere, pouring boiling water down the drain will clear it pretty quickly( i use a steam machine purchased from the infomercials works awesome, after you clear it and all water drain down tube wrap a piece of solid copper wirearound the heater( black calrod heater right above the drain trough) and stick it in the whole maybe an inch or so. now everythime the heater comes on to defrost it will prevent the hole from freezing over
