Bottom tension very loose, looks like a crocheted string. I've changed needles, bobbins and tried adjusting tension.

Rethread your machine, you haven't got your thread going through the tension discs right or your thread is tangled

How do I fix the bottom bobbin thread

THE BOTTOM AND TOP THREADS ARE IN A TUG OF WAR. WHEN THE TOP IS TOO LOOSE THE BOBBIN WILL BE PULLING HARDER THAN THE TOP THREAD SO A GREAT DEAL MORE THREAD WILL END UP ON THE BOTTOM. TO CORRECT THIS YOU INCREASE THE TOP THREAD TENSION. IF THE TOP THREAD IS PULLING HARDER THAN THE BOTTOM THEN A GREAT DEAL MORE BOBBIN THREAD WILL END UP ON THE TOP. TO CORRECT THIS YOU WOULD LOWER THE TENSION ON TOP.

Bobbin tension

adjust the top thread tension and see if that helps the bobbin tension

My Pfaff Quilt Expression 4.0 was working perfectly until I cleaned the lint out of the bobbin area and changed my needle. Now I have what looks like a multi stranded crochet chain on the bottom of m

Sounds like a tension problem. Remove the top thread and re-thread it while the presser foot lever is UP. Then do a test seam.

Also make sure you've replaced the bobbin correctly most machines require that the bobbin unspool in a certain direction to form a proper loop.

Good luck.

Thread tension

try changing the needle first--make sure the needle is the correct one for the fabric being sewed.
if you've adjusted the top tension & the bottom stitch still looks the same
it's possible that the top tension dial is needing to be checked to see if it's
working correctly

Tension of pe770

Besides the other advice here, check your bobbin case. At first I didn't get my thread hooked into the bobbin case properly and had problems that looked like the bobbin tension was not adjusted properly. I have to take the case out, put in the bobbin to make sure it's caught properly and then put it back into the machine. This is what worked for me.

Bottom thread too loose; tried rethreading top thread, cleaning bobbin case, refilling bobbin, changing needle, adjusting top tension

Check for correct bottom thread tension.
It's provided by a flat spring on the bobbin holder.
When the bobbin is correctly installed, pulling on the thread
should meet with slight resistance, and the bobbin should spin without
trying to jump out of the bobbin holder.

Singer 221-1 stitching is good on bottom but not on top

pucker is caused by too loose or, to tight adjustment of: the thread tensioners both the bobbin tensioner and, the needle tensioner need to be adjusted: to adjust the needle tensioner turn the side knob clockwise is tighter counterclockwise loosens; the bobbin tensioner is a tiny screw on the bobbin holder adjust both tensioners until your stich loops' both top and, bottom are tight but, the machine does not break the thread

Kenmore 15343 incorrect stitching

When you see the bobbin thread on top of the fabric this can be on e of 2 things usually. 1) thath the top thread tension is too tight or that the bobbin thread loose. Remember the saying righty tighty, lefty loosey. If you have adjust the top tension and it has helped just not enough perhaps you need to try the bottom a small screwdriver to turn the little screw on the outside of the bobbincase may do the trick. only small adjustments 1/4 turn at the most at a time to the right to start with.
