Hi

The water leaking on floor can be a serious issue as this may cause the inside parts to malfunction or in some cases rusting of the body. To check where exactly is it leaking, inspect the leak while it is running. After the cycle is complete quickly turn off the power, lie down the machine on left/right side and check from where the water is leaking. If it is the hose or drain pump then check whether hose is connected firmly and is not cut. If it not the hose/pump inspect if the leak is on the drum corner or anywhere on the upper side of the drum. If it is on upper side that means the drum is cracked and it is a costly affair. However, if it is leaking from the circumference then it is due to transmission seal. to replace the transmission seal you'll need to disassemble the washer and the drum assembly. Please post back in case of any issues. Hope this helps...

Where is coin trap

Hello Anthony Broccone - This may or may not be specifically for your model, however there are generics instructions. Typically to check for a restriction in the drain line you will need to follow the steps below:

1. Unplug the washer

2. Pull the washer out to tilt it back so you can reach the screws below the front panel and remove it. (You will need something to catch the water once the hose is removed from the bottom of washer)

3. Loosen the bolt with the sliver clamp on the bottom of the washer. The water will begin to

come out while your loosening the clamp. (Do not remove any GREEN clamps)

4. Once the water is out, you can stick your hand inside the hose to clean it out.

My westinghouse leaks water. It's 16 years old, so if it's some major problem I'm ok with it and I'll get a new clothes washer. On the other hand I would like to open up the washer and

The back and sides are one piece. The front comes off (two clips under top, one on each side about 2 or 3" in from outside - two screws on bottom directly below clips). The top will lift up on the rear hinges, the front lifts about 0.5" and comes off.

Your drain system is clogged with debris. Remove the filter from the bottom left door and look straight back inside the drain system, you will see more debris inside. Do not use a sharp object to remove the debris or you will puncture the rubber bellows. From the back of the machine, remove the back cover. At the bottom of the tub you will find a rubber drain hose that leads from the bottom the tank to the drain filter. Using your hand, gently squeeze the rubber drain hose to "massage" the leftover debris inside. This should help clean out the debris. WARNING: This will cause a major rush of water to come out so be prepared. Good luck

Water fills washer fine but when draining it only trickles out ? could something be stuck in hose?

Hi from Englishman in France.
At the bottom of the front on the majority of washers is an access plate for the FILTER of the drain pump. It is probably round and should remove with an anticlockwise turn/twist. If your water supply contains a lot of calcium (as ours does!) removing the cover MIGHT NOT bring the actual filter out. I had to patiently squirt antical into it and gently pursuade it to come out. Ours is a Bosch and the filter and cover, although separate, are held together by a rubber 'gasket'.
Once the cover and filter are removed it is normally possible to see the inlet pipe to the pump AND the pump itself, as it is at the lowest point of the discharge pipe, and thus any 'detritus'.
I also remove the whole bottom plate and can then see the outside of the whole pump.

Hope this assists- it's expensive to call in a 'Mr (or Mrs) Fixit' for something like this.

Best of luck

Water leaks from bottom

Sounds like your drain hose isn't connected properly to the machine. Look for the base of the hose and see if there's something you can do.

Washer leaking

You need to remove the front panel and look where the water is coming from. fill the washer on the small water level. then turn it to spin and watch for water.

If its the pump you can replace this, if its a tub seal, up under the tub thats a major job, get someone to give you a quote over the phone. You may want to replace the washing machine. based on age and $$$
