Question about DXG Technology DXG-608 Digital Camera

1 Answer

Re: DXG 608. After loading a new 4 GB SD chip, the camera took and stored about 20 pictures. The "Memory Full" warning then appeared, after which the camera would take, but not store, additional pictures. A second, partly filled (2 pictures) chip was inserted, and the "Memory Full" warning came on immediately. As before, pictures could be taken, but not stored. A third, partly filled 2 GB chip was installed (172 pictures). One additional picture was taken, after which the camara lost all functions except for the screen view. Functions lost included "Off." Camera finally shut down by pulling the battery. Recommendations, please.

I just got a samsung sensory pleasure nv3 i put a 4 gb memory card in it and it says memory full but the card is empty

Hi
Try formatting the SD card before using it.Also, check the storage destination of the pictures, could be they're storing on your camera and not in the memory card.Make the SD card the default storage device.

Hope it helps.

Can not down load pictures to pc

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

I HAVE A DXG DIGITAL CAMERA. WHEN I HOOK UP THE CAMERA INTO THE VIDEO INPUT THE PICTURE IS ALL JUMPY & UNCLEAR

Here's my problem: I recently bought as in today a PNY Optima 16 GB SDHC Card for my DXG-566V camcorder. When I inserted the card into it's SD card slot (which I assure you I did correctly), and powered up the camcorder, the camcorder didn't recognize the SD card, as it was still running off of the camcorder memory! Now I know the camcorder is just fine becuase after that I inserted my PNY 8 GB SDHC Card and the camcorder recgonized the card.
Please help me out here!

Hello I took pictures on my camera but how do I download them to my computer.

Check the box the camera came with, and see if you can find a USB cable. If there is one, you can connect this to your computer and the camera, and the computer should pick up the camera for you to transfer the photos onto the PC (if there is software that came with the camera, you may be able to install this on the PC to make this process easier). If there is no cable/software included, you will need to get a card reader, and plug that into your computer, then take out the memory card from the camera and insert that into your card reader to transfer the photos onto the PC. Please make sure you know what kind of memory card you have, to get the right card reader for you to do this (the formats are usually SD (Secure Digital), CF (Compact Flash), on Memory Stick. Hope this helps!
