Sound but no picture after an explosive glass...

There was an explosive glass breaking sound just after turning on tv, now I have no picture but the sound is still there. What is the problem?

If my lamp is shattered can I still remove it and replace with a new one or am I going to need to hire someone to replace the lamp?

Some of those models have been known to have the lamp shatterd and still have sound. Check the lamp, its probably shattered.

You can replace the lamp your self just be careful with any pieces of glass left inside the lamp compartment and housing.
