The clamp nut for angle grinders have a standard thread.
It should be possible to get one at a large tool store. You may have to buy a new wrench for tightening the nut though.

Grinder manuals

The grinder should have come with a special wrench that fits the "nut" that holds the wheel on. There should also be a button to push to lock the shaft. With the grinder unplugged gently push the button in and turn the wheel till the shaft locks then put the whrech on the nut and spin it off.

Misplaced my angle grinder's inner disc flange

If you use a nut, the arbor nut will not hold your grinding/cutting wheel properly and you'll use up threade the arbor nut needs to tighten. What you need is the clamping flange, Bosch part number 3603340501. If you have a tool repair center near you they may have one or can order you one. If not, you can get one on sites like www.ereplacementparts.com.

I have a DW402 4.5'' angle grinder and do not know how to remove the blade to install a new one. Could someone help please?

On top of the head there is a button to press to lock the blade arbor. Press it down and turn the blade by hand until it locks in place. Then you need either a spanner wrench or nut wrench depending on which arbor nut you have. Grinders usually come with whichever wrench they need. Most grinders have an arbor nut with two or four holes and require a spanner wrench with two studs that fit into two of the holes to remove the arbor nut. Some have an arbor nut with a hex fitting, like a regular nut & bot setup, that the arbor wrench fits on. If you don't have the proper wrench sometimes you can get the arbor nut off with a pair of vice grips or pliers. You will want to turn the nut in the same direction as the blade spins when the grinder is on to remove it. When you put the new blade on, get the arbor nut hand tight, it is self tightening and will get tighter as you use the grinder.

Hi...I have a Black and Decker 4247 angle grinder that I haven't changed the disc on in YEARS...I can't remember if the clamp nut is right hand threaded or left...please help! Thanks lots!

Which ever way your grinder spins when turned on is the same direction the lock nut has to be turned to remove it. This makes sure it's self tightening when in use. More often than not they're right-tight, left-loose.

I am about to pull out the armature and there is a shield under the cooling fan (which is conected to the armature) that should slide out with the armature. It is real tight and I do not want to pry to...

Yes it should pull out with the armature. The plate can only be removed after you remove the nut and gear on the end of the armature. Make sure your brushes are pulled out first or they can hang up on the bearing at the other end of the armature which may be what is happening in your case.

I own a metabo 9-125 quick but can't don't know how to place the blade

On the silver part on top of the grinder is a button , press this button and hold it down. now turn the blade until it stops moving, this locks the blade, keep holding the button down and turn grinder over ,and turn the nut counter clockwise, and remove it , take old blade off ,put on new one .it should go over the shaft and at the bottom on a "fit" Make sure it is on the "fit". replace the nut and tighten. If you dont get the nut tight enough it will loosen while in use and the disc you are cutting/grinding with will wobble and may even come off causing possible injury .

High vibrations & pinion looseningin 4" angle grinder

Could be couple things the wheel is out of balance or out of round causing the vibration, the armature shaft could be bent causing this also the bearings could be bad. One last thing to look at is the fan on the armature to make sure not cracked or missing fins. Let me know the model and brand and I will look further

Lock nut on Makita 9069 is stuck & I can't loosen it. Using the lock nut wrench, but it won't budge. Any suggestions?

Make sure you are turning wrench and nut clockwise to remove nut and counterclock to put back on,you will never get nut off if turning counterclocwise, threads pitch is opposite to screw pitches.
You are tightening and did not know it maybe???
Other option:

Need to put lock nut wrench in a vise jaw and clamp, then place tool on wrench and press down and turn. This should give you added leverage to break loose nut,and btw make sure to turn clockwise to unscrew and clockwise to tighten, this is opposite of what you might do to tighten or untighten
