My Lexmark X1185 ink Jet Printer malfunction/...

My P.C.printer prints the page with a 3inch blank area on the left side, and some of the right side text is off the page. This is typical of my e mail page and even if center the letter on the screen, using the scroll bar at the bottom does not correct the printed image. All attempts to resolve this problem thru Lexmark are futile. Thier customer service is deploreable. I see by FixYa`s posted pages a lot of people have problems with this and other Lexmark models.
