Question about Fisher and Paykel DGGX1 Electric Dryer
Bob these units are tough to diagnosis even when your standing in front of it.,But here we go,The most likley source of the squeal is the (right) side drum bearing / support Part # 479332 its easy to install and comes with excellent installation instructions .Thats the most likley associated with drum rotation. While your in the unit you might want to remove the housing for the blower fan and make sure its clean these spin at such a high RPM even caked on dirt / lint will cause a vibration resulting in noise.Hope this helps... everything else in the dryer spins much faster than drum speed and would not make a noise associated with drum rotation Good luck bob
