Format the drive, then install an operating system such as xp, or windows 7 .... it should install most of the correct drivers. If you have the original disks that came with the computer, use those. You may have to go to the manufactures website to find the exact drivers for the video and sound cards., but that should pretty much return it to factory settings. If you are really picky and have the bucks, you can contact TOSHIBA for the original disks.

You may just have knocked the hard drive loose,
Open the hard drive cover remove and refit it. If that does not help, it would be a trip to the repair shop.
You could also refit the memory and cd/dvd drive

What is your fault as the "Service Manual" contains no schematics just a system flow chart, (which all computer engineers already know) and slightly more information regarding how to drive it and what the acronims means. It doesn't even give part numbers! So I didn't buy it.
Hope I can help.

Hello,

This is a security password set in the BIOS. You will need this password to by pass this screen. If you got this pc from someone, you should contact them and request password or do a complete reinstall of the os and loss all data.

Where do I find the cmos battery on a satellite pro l450d-12x?

This particular model got it's CMOS (RTC) battery soldered to it's motherboard. You can't just replace it, you should take it to an experienced IT technician, who's good with soldering, in order to de-solder the one that's on board, then solder a new replacement.
