With the fan unplugged, as best you can, remove any debris that may have collected on or around the armature of the motor ends. After doing this, spray a small amount of WD40 onto both ends of the armature and rotate it with your finger to work the WD 40 into the small plates that hold the ends of the armature. You can also use a contact cleaner spray.

Noisy fans on a desk-top pc Model Acer Veriton 1000. Besides replacement for new fans, can brushless fans be serviced or lubricated?

The Veriton 1000 I have has 50mm fans (length and width). 80mm are the wrong size. They are 15mm thick, 12V, 0.2A. For some reason, these seem to be more expensive than many other fans.

Coleman Model 8335B8964. Fan will not come on when the compressor kicks on. it will hum and then after about 1-2 minutes, the fan will kick on but will squeek for a few seconds. then runs fine.. What...

I assume you are talking about the condenser fan (outdoor), if so the squeaking indicates bad bearings. These motors usually have oil ports which you can re-lube, however the hermetic styling by which most AC parts are built makes the recommendation to change the motor/capacitor the only long term solution.

Freezer part works but not fridge

The circulating fan(Freezer Fan) supplies air to freezer as well as the refrigerator. As the DC brushless motor wares out the rpms reduce to a point that it is hard to diagnose. This motor alone costs around $80.00( Replacement of the fan motor is labor intensive to remove fan assembly because the electrical connections are at the exteme rear of the freezer compartment
