If you flashed your DS Lite this is the classic problem. A DS Lite NEVER EVER NEEDS TO BE FLASHED!!
What you can attempt to do is remove the Bios from your non-working console and clear it using unflash or a similar utility. Do a Google search and you will find the instructions.
You will need a working DS lite to correct the problem.
